CLORAMA (CLOse RAnge MAtching) is a package for matching terrestrial images and derive dense and accurate point clouds
CLORAMA is a modified version of SAT-PP adapted to match sets of overlapping terrestrial images. The results is an accurate Digital Surface Model (DSM) of the object, which is equivalent in quality or even better than a model derived from laserscanning. The multi-image matching combines several matching algorithms and works on pairs, triples or entire image blocks. It needs oriented images which are simultaneously matched to derive dense and accurate point clouds. As such CLORAMA provides an important step in producing high quality textured 3D models from images.
